Installing Windows Drivers
After you connect Tira to your PC operating system will detect that new hardware is present and will prompt you to install drivers. Click "Next" and proceed to the next screen...
Select the first option ("Search for suitable drivers") and click "Next"...
On this screen select the "Specify location" or "CD-ROM" options. You will need to use "Specify location" if you need to install drivers that you downloaded from our web-site. The next screen will show you the location of the drivers that the operating system has found. Click on "Next" again. You might get warning that the drivers do not contain Microsoft digital signature. This is normal and it is safe to proceed. The system will copy necessary files from the CD and report that installation is finished.
Click "Finish" to complete the installation. After that the system will install "USB Serial Port", which is an auxiliary virtual device. The procedure is exactly the same as installing Tira. After everything is installed, go to Device Manager (Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager). Open "LPT and COM Ports" and make a note under which number "USB Serial Port" is Installed.
Now you can proceed with configuring the software of your choice to work with Tira.
